49: Efficient Dishes

And so continues the series of comics I wrote while thinking about food. But seriously, why clean the part of the plate that doesn't touch the food!? It just seems wasteful.
I ended up taking a bunch of ridiculous pictures of myself holding plates to use as a reference while I was drawing this. I'm sort of glad that nobody was home while I was working on this comic.

The problem with this philosophy is that it assumes the bottom of plates never touch the top of other plates. Yeah, it's a pet peeve of mine when people don't wash the entire plate. My ex only washed the tops of dishes, and the leftover food particles drove me crazy!
That being said, your expression in the second panel is priceless. ^_^
Just don't dirty the bottom.
Easy.
